CUTTING INSTRUCTION

GENERAL

In all circumstances the operation of the chain saw is a

one-man job.

It is difficult at times to take care of your own safety, so

don’t assume the responsibility for a helper as well.

After you have learned the basic techniques of using the

saw, your best aid will be your own good common

sense.

The accepted way to hold the saw is to stand to the left

of the saw with your left hand on the front handle so you

can operate the throttle trigger with your right index

finger.

Before attempting to fell a tree, cut some small logs or

limbs.

Be thoroughly familiar with the controls and the

responses of the saw.

Start the engine, see that is running properly. Squeeze

the trigger to open the throttle wide open, then start the

cut. It is not necessary to press down hard to make the

saw cut. If the chain is properly sharpened, the cutting

should be relatively effortless.

Pushing the saw too hard will slow the engine and

cutting will actually be more difficult.

Some material may adversely affect the housing of your

chain saw.

(Example: palm tree acid, fertilizer etc.)

To avoid housing deterioration carefully remove all

packed saw dust around clutch and guide bar area and

wash with water.

ALLGEMEINES

Eine Kettensäge darf immer nur von einer einzigen

Bedienkraft gehandhabt werden.

Es ist schon schwer genug, die eigene Sicherheit zu

gewährleisten, deshalb sollten Sie nicht auch noch die

Verantwortung für eine Hilfskraft übernehmen.

Sobald Sie die Grundlagen im Umgangs mit der Säge

erlernt haben, ist Ihr bester Helfer lhr eigenener

gesunden Menschenverstand.

Gewöhnlich steht man links von der Säge, die linke

Hand am vorderen Griff, die rechte Hand am hinteren

Griff, damit Sie den Gashebel mit dem rechten

Zeigefinger bedienen können.

Bevor Sie versuchen, einen Baum zu fällen, zersägen

Sie zunächst einmal kleinere Holzstämme oder Zweige.

Machen Sie sich mit den Bedienungselementen und der

Reaktionsweise der Säge ganz vertraut. Den Motor

anlassen und darauf achten, dass er richtig läuft.

Den Gashebel betätigen, damit sich die Drosselklappe

ganz öffnet, und den ersten Einschnitt machen. Wenn

die Kette richtig geschärft ist, müsste das Sägen relativ

leicht vor sich gehen.

Es ist nicht nötig, fest zu drücken, um den Einschnitt zu

machen. Wenn Sie zu fest auf die Säge drücken, läuft

der Motor langsamer und das Sägen wird dann

schwieriger.

Bestimmte Stoffe (wie z.B. Baumsäure, Düngemittel

usw.) können das Gehäuse Ihrer Kettensäge angreifen.

Um eine Beschädigung des Gehäuses zu vermeiden, ist

der Holzstaub, der sich an der Kupplung und im Bereich

der Kettenschiene angesammelt hat, zu entfernen und

der Bereich mit Wasser und einem nicht flammbaren

Lösungmittel abzuwaschen.

Talvolta è difficile stare attenti alla propria sicurezza,

quindi non assumetevi la responsabilità anche per un

eventuale aiutante.

Dopo aver imparato le tecniche di base per l’utilizzo di

ISTRUZIONI PER IL TAGLIO

Avviate il motore ed accertatevi che funzioni

adeguatamente.

Premete il grilletto fino a far aprire del tutto

l’acceleratore ed iniziate a tagliare. Se la catena è

adeguatamente affilata, il taglio dovrebbe essere

relativamente facile.

Non è necessario esercitare sulla motosega una forte

pressione perchè tagli.

Si si esercita troppa pressione il motore rallenterà ed il

taglio diventerà effettivamente più difficile.

Ci sono delle sostanze che possono rovinare il carter

della vs motosega.

(Ad esempio l’acido della palma, fertilizzanti, ecc.)

Per evitare il deterioramento del carter fate attenzione a

togliere tutta la segatura che si è accumulata attorno

alla frizione e nella lama e lavate le parti con acqua.
